A fairly long but entirely flat route with great tourist attractions, built on the embankments of the Marroggia-Teverone-Timia embankment, up to Cannara, and then crossing the Valle Umbra just in front of Assisi. Umbria is a region that is focusing a lot on cycling tourism and the results can be seen as it follows: this itinerary can be connected to others (i.e. the Tiber cycle route, the former Spoleto – Norcia railway cycle route, the Trasimeno ring road) for a pleasant cycling holiday in the area. The Orte – Falconara railway line (between Spoleto and Assisi) and the Foligno – Terontola line (between Foligno and Assisi) allow the bike + train tour.
